How does the Wallet work?

First, remember that the Wallet is free.

The Wallet can be credited via a simple bank transfer from your Walliance-associated bank account. Money available in your Wallet can be withdrawn and transferred to your associated bank account with a simple click.

A Wallet is not a traditional bank account. Therefore, it cannot be used to make payments other than those related to investment transactions on Walliance.

Your Mangopay Wallet may be closed, if opened, along with your Walliance Account as per the General Terms of Use for Investors.

ℹ️ The Wallet is required to benefit from the services provided by Walliance.


How to activate my Wallet?

To activate your Wallet, please follow these steps:

  • If you haven't validated your profile yet, follow the steps outlined in paragraph 1. How to validate your profile of this article.

  • If you have already validated your profile:

    • go to your Account and click on "My Info" > "Bank Account";

    • go to the Mangopay Wallet Opening section and, after reviewing and accepting the payment services contract with Mangopay, click on Confirm.

The opening of your new Mangopay Wallet can take up to 72 hours. You'll receive a confirmation e-mail once it's done. Otherwise, you will be contacted by our Customer Support in case we need more information about your Wallet opening.


How to deposit money into my Wallet to invest?

You can deposit money to your Wallet by sending a wire transfer from the bank account you have entered in your personal Account area, in the "Bank Account" section.

Please note that the minimum investment ranges from € 500 to € 2,500, so you must deposit at least a matching amount to invest.

To charge your Wallet, please follow these steps:

  1. from your "Account" > "Wallet" area, click on "Deposit" to get your digital wallet bank details;

  2. log in to your bank and send a wire transfer to the coordinates given in step 1. N.B.: remember to make the transfer from the bank account you entered in the personal Account area;

  3. wait up to three business days to receive the funds on your wallet;

  4. you will receive both an email and an in-app push notification as soon as the funds are credited to your Wallet. You can check the amount credited to your wallet within your "Account" > "Wallet" section;

  5. once funds are received, check out available projects to start investing.

Important: the Mangopay payment institution does not support the "instant wire transfer" mode. Payment orders entered in this mode will still need up to 3 business days to be processed. Even for instant wire transfers made by your bank it takes up to 3 business days to be available on your wallet.

Can I still invest if my Wallet is empty?

Yes, you will always be able to invest by choosing to make a wire transfer to the coordinates displayed at the end of the investment process instead of charging your Mangopay Wallet. You will receive specific references by email which will also remain available within your personal area.

How to withdraw money from my Wallet?

To withdraw money from your Wallet, click on the "Withdraw" button within your "Account" > "Wallet", and indicate the exact amount you want to withdraw.

The amount will be transferred at no cost to your associated bank account indicated within your personal area.

Once the withdrawal request is submitted, it cannot be cancelled.

Crediting your associated bank account can take up to 3 business days.
