ℹ️ The Mangopay Wallet is required in order to use the services provided by Walliance.

A Wallet is not a traditional bank account and for this reason you cannot use it to make payments other than those related to investment transactions on Walliance.

Your Mangopay Wallet can be closed, if opened, together with your Walliance Account in accordance with the provisions contained in the Terms of Use for Investors.

How to activate my Wallet?

  • If you haven't validated your profile yet, follow the steps outlined in paragraph 1. of this article.

  • If you have already validated your profile go to your Account and click on "My Info" > "Bank Account" > go to the Mangopay Wallet Opening section and, after reviewing and accepting the payment services contract with Mangopay, click on Confirm.

The opening of your new Mangopay Wallet can take up to 72 hours. You'll receive a confirmation e-mail once it's done. Otherwise, please contact our support team.

How to deposit money into my Wallet to invest?

You can deposit money to your Wallet by payment card (Visa or Mastercard circuit) or wire transfer from the bank account you have entered in your personal Account area, in the "Bank Account" section.

Please note that the minimum investment ranges from € 500 to € 2,500, so you must deposit at least a matching amount to invest.

To charge your Wallet by wire transfer, please follow these steps:

  1. from your "Account" > "Wallet" area, click on "Deposit" to get your digital wallet bank details;

  2. log in to your bank and send a wire transfer to the coordinates given in step 1. N.B.: remember to make the transfer from the bank account you entered in the personal Account area;

  3. wait up to three business days to receive the funds on your wallet;

  4. you will receive both an email and an in-app push notification as soon as the funds are credited to your Wallet. You can check the amount credited to your wallet within your "Account" > "Wallet" section;

  5. once funds are received, check out available projects to start investing.

Important: the Mangopay payment institution does not support the "instant wire transfer" mode. Payment orders entered in this mode will still need up to 3 business days to be processed. Even for instant wire transfers made by your bank it takes up to 3 business days to be available on your wallet.

Can I still invest if my Wallet is empty?

Yes, if you do not have sufficient funds to complete the investment, you can top up your Mangopay Wallet during the investment process itself. The details required to make the transfer will be provided at the end of the process, sent by email, and will also be available in your personal dashboard.

The top-up transfer must be made as soon as the investment process on the portal is completed and in any case no later than 4 calendar days from the subscription date, in accordance with Article 22 of Regulation (EU) 2020/1503, which allows each investor to exercise the so-called “reflection period.”

How to withdraw money from my Wallet?

To withdraw money from your Wallet, click on the "Withdraw" button within your "Account" > "Wallet", and indicate the exact amount you want to withdraw.

The amount will be credited directly to the associated bank account you specified in your personal area.

Once the withdrawal request has been submitted, it cannot be canceled.

It may take up to 3 business days for the funds to be credited to your associated bank account.

How does it work in terms of tax?

If, for tax or other reasons, you need to know the average balance of your Wallet, the initial and final balance for a particular fiscal year, this information will be provided in a specific statement available on the Walliance portal by the end of the first quarter of the year following the year in question.

ℹ️ Please note that the tax monitoring obligation in Italy only applies to accounts opened abroad (such as Mangopay) whose average balance has exceeded €5,000 (even for a single day), or if the maximum total value reached during the tax period has exceeded €15,000. Furthermore, as clarified in Resolution 56/E of 2020 of the Italian Revenue Agency, payment accounts, such as the Mangopay Wallet, do not constitute typical bank “current accounts” and are therefore not subject to IVAFE.

Considering that the Wallet is a payment account and not a current account, it does not come with a statement. However, you can view your transactions directly in the “Account” > “Wallet” area.

How much does the Mangopay Wallet cost?

Opening, managing, and topping up the Mangopay Wallet via bank transfer is free of charge for all users. If the investor chooses to top up the Wallet via payment card, fees will apply (visible at the time of the operation and always available for consultation in the General Terms and Conditions of Use of the Investor Portal). In addition, starting December 1, 2025, a fixed fee of €1 will be introduced for each withdrawal of money from the Mangopay Wallet to the investor's bank account.

  • No opening fees

  • No maintenance or storage fees

  • No fees on top-ups via bank transfer

  • Fees on top-ups via payment card

  • Fixed fee of €1 for each withdrawal (applicable from December 1, 2025)
