If you wish to look up information about your current Wallet balance and the transactions you have made, the same are provided by Mangopay within your personal area in Walliance, in the "Wallet" section. The same can also be downloaded via a CSV file.
Payment accounts such as your Mangopay Wallet, as opened at a Luxembourg-registered payment institution are considered foreign current accounts for tax monitoring purposes only. Therefore, holding funds in such accounts is subject to tax monitoring.
ℹ️ The tax monitoring obligation in Italy exists only for bank accounts opened abroad (such as that of Mangopay) whose maximum overall value reached during the tax period was greater than €15,000 (even for a single day ). Furthermore, as clarified in Resolution 56/E of 2020 of the Italian Revenue Agency, the payment account, such as the Mangopay Wallet, not being a typical bank “current account”, is not subject to IVAFE.
If my Wallet has exceeded the maximum value and/or average balance, what is the correct procedure to comply with tax monitoring requirements?
Mangopay SA provides, via Walliance, information regarding the average balance, the initial balance and the final balance of your Wallet. You will be able to find them by the end of April of the year following the one concluded, in the “Taxation” area of your profile, in a summary document.
