KIIS stands for Key Investment Information Sheet. It replaces, for all purposes as of 10/11/2023, the so-called Conditions of Offer or DIRS.

It's a disclosure prepared by the Issuer or Project Owner for each fundraising campaign or by the platform, on financial and insolvency risks, costs, and project selection criteria.

One of the recurring mistakes of investors is not reading fact sheets and contracts with due care. Remember not to underestimate the risk of capital loss, which might occur in case of insolvency of the entity financed by Lending operations, or the risk of devaluation of shares acquired in the case of Equity crowdfunding operations.

The KIIS is produced following a specific template provided by Regulation (EU) 2020/1503.
