Can I cancel an investment made with Walliance?

Written by Luce

Yes, within a certain time limit, you can cancel an investment made with Walliance.

Reflection period

Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2020/1503, a “reflection period” is provided during which a non-sophisticated investor can revoke an investment offer or an expression of interest related to a specific crowdfunding offer, without the obligation to provide a reason and without incurring penalties.

The revocation can be made directly from the Portfolio > “Investments” section of your Dashboard, by selecting the technical form of the subscribed investment and clicking the “Cancel” button, which is available within the first 4 days from the date the order is placed.

Alternatively, the revocation can be communicated via email to RP@walliance.eu. The reflection period starts from the date the order is placed.

Right of Withdrawal

The non-sophisticated investor, or anyone who otherwise meets the definition of a “Consumer” pursuant to Directive 2011/83/EU, also has the right to withdraw from the investment order within 14 days starting from the date the order itself is placed (for any reason and without any penalty).

Once the cooling-off period has expired, the withdrawal can be exercised directly from the Portfolio > “Investments” section of your Dashboard by clicking the “Withdraw” button, which is available until the expiration of 14 calendar days from the subscription of the investment order. Alternatively, the withdrawal can be communicated via email to RW@walliance.eu.

ℹ️ If the investment had already been confirmed, the amount paid will be automatically credited back to the investor's personal Mangopay Wallet within a few hours.
